EEG Neurofeedback Services:

EEG Neurofeedback Services are the UK's only comprehensive provider of full-time professional EEG Neurofeedback training services to individuals and organisations. Since 1996 we have also been NHS providers for EEG Neurofeedback, in selected cases.

Some of the individuals who have benefited from EEG Neurofeedback training or their parents have kindly contributed their own feedback on the treatment received for the conditions listed on the left. This list of conditions is by no means exhaustive and if you wish to enquire about your specific symptoms or requirements then please contact by email or telephone.

You can either use the Search option below to find what you are looking for or click on the feedback buttons on the right to look for a particular condition or peak performance training.

What is EEG Neurofeedback?

EEG Neurofeedback is a non-invasive technique in which the practitioner uses sophisticated technology to measure the natural electrical activity of the brain (the electroencephalogram, EEG).

When an individual performs a task the EEG information is collected, analysed and presented back in real-time, in a form that he/she can consciously see the changes in electrical state of the brain which relate to functioning and less well functioning brain states.

Using computerised feedback technology in the form of a real time game or display the practitioner helps the individual modify these brain states. In this way the brain progressively enhances its ability to learn and overcome deficiencies, not previously possible without this technique despite many educational or health strategies having already been employed.

EEG Neurofeedback was originally pioneered for neurological conditions such as epilepsy and stroke, is now used to treat ADHD, autism, dyspraxia, learning difficulties and health problems. Once the brain has been trained in a particular learning or health state, it becomes embedded for good, just like learning to ride a bike.
